Blue Lotus Buddhist Temple, 221 Dean St, Woodstock, IL 60098, USA
Join me in class as we mindfully flow in a vinyasa sequence. Allowing the body to connect with our breath, determining each asana (posture). Connecting our breath with our body is essential in our practice, allowing us to become more mindful. As you deepen and strengthen your practice not only on the mat but off the mat. You will feel more grounded within.
Meet Natasha:
Natasha is a mindful, compassionate peace seeker, a true Bhakti Yogi.
Natasha started her personal yoga journey in 201 4under the guidance of the late, Nancy May of Yoga from the Heart. In April 2021, Natasha studied yoga and meditation in Belize with both Nancy May and the loving kindness Monk, Venerable Bhante Sujatha of the Blue Lotus Temple in Woodstock, IL. The self-discovery that occurred on this trip, led
Natasha to the decision to dedicate her life to yoga and her desire to share her practices with the world.
In 2022, Natasha became certified to teach yoga under the guidance of Julia Jonson of TBY yoga and is a (RYT-200) registered instructor with the Yoga Alliance. Natasha believes that yoga is much more than physical poses or "asana."
Yoga is skill in action, a beautiful introduction to oneself, from oneself. Natasha believes that yoga can also be our teacher or guide.
Natasha cannot wait to practice with you, sharing the essence of yoga with you. Natasha's practices will lead you on a journey of self-compassion, self-acceptance, and self-love.

These are key states for healing, regeneration, and rejuvenation. All one needs to do is let the mind relax and allow the sounds of the gongs and singing bowls harmonize the body. State of Mind Called Beautiful - Meditation and Dhamma Talk with Bhikkhuni Pannavati in Person and via Zoom
State of Mind Called Beautiful - Meditation and Dhamma Talk with Bhikkhuni Pannavati in Person and via Zoom
3/30/24 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Title: State of Mind Called Beautiful
Just think of what this title inspires -- the promise of the Buddha that it IS possible to abide in a mind state overflowing with loving-kindness, compassion, altruism and limitless generosity of spirit (equanimity)! But, it takes more than chanting the "four brahma viharas" to enter that state of peace and freedom! Actual cultivation of body, speech and mind is necessary to inherit the promise. This talk will set us on the course to attain that goal. And, in this way, we can meet all the difficulties of life with confidence, joy and fearlessness.
Bio
Venerable Pannavati, Maha Theri is a former Christian pastor, uniquely ordained in both Theravada and Mahayana traditions. She is also a Vajrayana teacher. Particularly inspired by her final lineage master, she offers authorized esoteric lineage teachings, empowerments and activities using skillful means. She is co-founder of Heartwood Refuge, an intentional monastic and lay residential community; Correct Cultivation Learning from Buddha Academy, and Embracing Simplicity Hermitage monastic order. Venerable also serves on Buddhist and inter-spiritual leadership boards, internationally, having retired from decades of active work in humanitarian projects advocating and serving women’s advancement, education for Dalits (India’s Untouchables) and full ordination for female monks.
